Accompanying and transporting clients to medical or wellbeing appointments
Writing & Legacy Support
Writing and shaping funeral and memorial speeches that truly reflect the person’s life
• Editing or refining speeches while preserving the speaker’s authentic voice
• Creating written pieces that can be read aloud or kept as lasting keepsakes
• Working one-on-one with individuals to document their life story as a book
Recording online tapes & recorded messages to leave behind for loved ones
Helping people say what needs to be said (or sit in what cannot be said)
Offering a steady, non-judgemental presence and anchor
After-Death
Gentle body care: washing or dressing of body (independent or supporting loved ones to do themselves)
Arranging cold plate to person at home or co-ordinating with Solace End Of Life Services to keep body with them until ceremony, burial or cremation
Creating an appropriate space for goodbye
Facilitation of ceremony. Discussing the many options eg traditional, at home, alternative, public or private.
Support with burial options or cremation. Paper work etc.
Check-in with family and loved ones weeks or months later.
